This is a Windows add-on for the ARJ DOS compression tool. It isn't a real simple interface but it does make using ARJ a lot easier. It's an ARJ archive that can be uncompressed with ARJ or Stuffit which also supports ARJ. (290KB)

CAB PACK

For making and extracting CAB files. This (CAB files) is what the EVIL EMPIRE uses for compression (don't let that scare you though). I haven't found it to compress any better than ZIP though. (247KB)

PACKWORD

PackWord can compress a Microsoft Word document (.doc) file into a smaller, compressed, .doc file. The compressed .doc file is self-extracting. When loaded into Microsoft Word, the compressed document will automatically expand to the original version. (231KB)

STUBBIEMAN FSX

StubbieMan is a program which makes self-extracting archive files (SFX files). A SFX allows you to distribute compressed files without the recipient needing to use an unzipping program - they just run your SFX. An SFX also gives you more control over how and to where the files in the archive are extracted. (185KB)

ICEOWS

With ICEOWS you can extract, test, read properties and comments or view files stored in ICE, ARJ, ZIP, GunZip, TAR, Microsoft CAB, RAR, ACE, MIME, Mac HQX, UUEncode, XXEncode, Base64, JAR, EAR, WAR, LHA, IMP, BZ2 files without an external program.
